This just came in, apparently Famitsu has some screens for the new 3DS add-on that will add a second analog pad to the system.
the catch? its probably not done by Nintendo.
while its too early to call that a new 3DSlite will be launched with the second pad, its entirely possible that this add-on is just a special prop to play Capcom´s new re-release of Monster Hunter Tri G for the 3DS.
I certainly hope that this is just a Capcom thing because it would screw over a lot of early 3DS adopters like me.
the pictures are not very clear but apparently it will connect to the battery port of the console ( maybe even a battery extender ) and will also have another shoulder button to replace the one it covers.
anyway expect to hear the full truth at TGS in the coming weeks and lets hope this is just an add-on for MH3G.
